Job Description:
GreatStaff Direct is proud to partner with a rapidly growing non-automotive manufacturer in New Hudson, MI. We are looking for dependable and motivated individuals to join their production team! This is an entry-level Production Assembler opportunity in a clean, safe, and team-oriented environment. The position involves assembling and sorting parts, operating basic production equipment, and performing quality checks. Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $16.75/hour, paid weekly
Position: Contract-to-Hire
Responsibilities:
- Assemble light plumbing supply components
- Sort and organize parts and materials
- Operate basic production machines and equipment
- Perform visual quality checks to ensure parts meet standards
- Follow established production and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals
Requirements:
- Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply!
- Previous assembly, production, manufacturing, warehouse, or machine operation experience is a plus, but not required
- Comfortable working in a hands-on production environment
- Good attention to detail
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to stand and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday
- Able to regularly lift up to 10 lbs.
- Reliable transportation to the New Hudson area
- Must be able to pass a saliva drug screen and background check
