This individual will have a hand in nearly every financial aspect of the business, from lender and investor reporting, loan compliance, budgeting, and treasury to insurance, real estate taxes, transaction support, and entity administration. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and is comfortable balancing multiple responsibilities in a small, collaborative environment.

Oversee corporate and property insurance renewals, coordinate with brokers on claims and lender inspections, and work with tax consultants on property tax bills, appeals, and projections. Support acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancings, including reviewing loan and purchase documents, prorations, settlement statements, and coordinating closing activity with outside accounting partners. Manage the relationship with the outside CPA firm, reviewing monthly financials, year-end reporting, tax returns, K-1s, and other deliverables. Oversee annual reporting and compliance for approximately 80 active legal entities across multiple states, along with shareholder minutes, entity formations, and dissolutions. Handle quarterly employee benefit chargebacks to properties and assist with additional financial and administrative needs as they arise.
Qualifications: 8–15 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate finance, accounting, or asset management, ideally with a real estate owner, developer, or sponsor. Bachelor's degree required. Strong understanding of lender reporting, loan compliance, and financial reporting to institutional owners or third-party partners. Experience managing multiple legal entities and financial reporting across a real estate portfolio. Proficiency with Yardi Voyager or a comparable real estate accounting system. Experience managing outside accounting firms and reviewing financial statements and reporting packages. Exposure to acquisitions, dispositions, refinancings, joint venture reporting, insurance, or real estate taxes is a plus. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple areas of responsibility. Comfortable taking ownership, working independently, and stepping in wherever needed in a small-team environment.
