Technical Course Developer

Overview As a Technical Course Developer, you design and deliver engaging training for our diverse product lineup, bridging engineering and end users. You will create self-paced, modular, and instructor-led programs for dealers, customers, and employees, in a fast-paced agile setting. You’ll translate complex tech into clear learning materials and collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure accuracy and impact. This role offers the chance to shape technical training across trucks, EVs, engines, and services, contributing to a sustainable transportation mission. Compensation / Benefitscompetitive market-based compensationcomprehensive benefits packagewellbeing supportpossibility of remote or flexible work arrangements Responsibilities Design course road maps and develop modules, workbooks, and training materials Incorporate multimedia elements (videos, animations, simulations) and ensure content aligns with product specs Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to understand features and translate into learning content Conduct independent tech research, on-vehicle validation, and lab creation Apply adult learning principles and tailor content to various learning styles and levels Design assessments to measure learner progress and course effectiveness Collaborate with instructional designers, graphic designers, and communicate with technical/non-technical audiences Provide progress updates and maintain clear documentation, while multitasking and prioritizing tasks Key requirements Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of technical training curriculum development and/or automotive or Heavy Duty industry experience ORMaster's degree and at least 1 year of experience ORAt least 5 years of relevant experience in technical training curriculum development and/or automotive or Heavy Duty industry experienceUS work authorization without sponsorship preferred Excellent communication and collaboration Project management skills Ability to translate technical language clearly Experience with eLearning tools and platforms, including Articulate Storyline Proficiency with Adobe Cloud software Strong technical writing and content development abilities
