Role Description: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the organization. The CFO will lead financial planning and budgeting, manage financial reporting cycles, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring cash flow, developing financial strategies to support growth, analyzing financial performance, and advising the executive team on key business decisions. The CFO will establish and maintain internal controls, support compliance with relevant regulations, collaborate with external auditors and financial partners, and provide clear, data-driven insights to stakeholders. This role also involves building and mentoring a high-performing finance team and supporting long-term strategic initiatives.
Qualifications: Strong skills in Finance and Financial Planning, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial management. Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. Demonstrated Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations. Experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably as a CFO or equivalent in a service-oriented or restoration-related industry. Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Proven ability to lead remote teams, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or other relevant certification is highly beneficial.
