About the role

Garden Attendant The North Shore Land Alliance seeks several part-time weekend Garden Attendants to: Learn about the Garden's background and special features Open and close the Garden at the start and end of open hours Greet visitors and converse with them about the Garden Manage visitor parking Track the number of visitors Open and close the Tea House The position will involve some weeding and basic maintenance of the parking area, paths and Tea Garden. Requirements and desired qualifications: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Organized, with the ability to work with minimal supervision and with a variety of people Independent/self-starter Availability to work weekends Must be able to provide own transportation Appreciation of land conservation and the unique qualities of the Stroll Garden Please email resume along with a cover letter to jjackson@northshorelandalliance.org with Garden Attendant in the subject line.
