Welder

Responsibilities: Perform TIG (approximately 60%) and MIG (approximately 40%) welding on mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components. Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications, dimensions, and weld requirements. Set up welding equipment, adjust settings, and select appropriate consumables based on material and project needs. Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal parts according to drawings and work instructions. Use tape measures and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure accuracy of cuts, fits, and welds. Work efficiently in a fast-paced job-shop environment where projects and priorities may change. Inspect welds and finished parts for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications. Collaborate with fabrication, painting, and other production teams to complete projects on time. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all shop safety practices. Operate and care for welding and fabrication equipment, reporting any issues or maintenance needs.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
