Director of Marketing And Business Development

What You'll Do: Lead the development and execution of the organization's firmwide marketing and business development strategy, aligning initiatives with broader growth objectives Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership and professional stakeholders, building strong relationships across departments and practice areas Partner directly with professionals on business development planning, relationship development, cross-selling, networking and identifying new opportunities Coach and support senior professionals in strengthening their individual market presence, client relationships and business development efforts Develop and manage marketing budgets, external vendors, agencies and key strategic partnerships Oversee the organization's external brand and market presence, including website, social media, public relations, advertising, thought leadership, rankings and awards Lead strategy around client events, networking opportunities, conferences, sponsorships and other relationship-building initiatives Oversee professional profiles, presentations, collateral, proposals and other materials that support business development efforts Partner with leadership on practice-area positioning, market visibility and growth initiatives Manage and mentor a small marketing team while establishing priorities, processes and accountability Monitor marketing and business development activity, providing leadership with insights and recommendations around effectiveness and ROIEnsure consistent messaging, branding and communications across the organization What We're Looking For 8+ years of progressive experience in marketing, business development and/or communications, ideally within professional services Experience working directly with senior executives, partners, attorneys or other high-level professionals Demonstrated ability to translate marketing strategy into measurable business development and growth opportunities Strong understanding of professional services marketing and the dynamics of selling expertise, relationships and reputation Experience coaching or advising senior professionals on business development, networking, client development or personal branding Experience managing budgets, vendors, agencies and/or internal marketing resources Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills Highly organized, polished and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $135,000.
