Critical Care Registered Nurse (ICU)

Provide direct critical care to adult ICU patients, including assessment, monitoring, and intervention Administer medications, infusions, and blood products following ICU protocols and safety standards Interpret cardiac rhythms, ventilator settings, and hemodynamic data to guide clinical decisions Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams on care plans Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records and critical care documentation Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-ICU care Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention, patient safety, and quality standards Respond rapidly to emergencies, codes, and acute status changes in ICU patients Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice in critical care Precept and mentor new ICU nurses and support ongoing clinical education Critical care nursing ICU patient assessment Ventilator management Hemodynamic monitoring Cardiac rhythm interpretation IV and infusion therapy Electronic health records (EHR) Advanced life support (ACLS) Infection control protocols Evidence-based practice Unencumbered RN license BLS certification ACLS certification Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) preferred
