Food Manufacturing Sanitation Technician I

As a Food Manufacturing Sanitation Technician I, you help prepare equipment and production areas for daily operation in a Cargill food facility. You clean and sanitize machinery, processing lines, and facility spaces using approved methods, chemicals, and PPE, often in cold or warm environments. You follow safety, food safety, and Lockout/Tagout procedures, complete sanitation records, report concerns, and may work overtime, weekends, or holidays to support consistent, safe production. Clean and sanitize production equipment, processing areas, and facility spaces per procedures and schedules Operate sanitation tools and equipment, including hot water and high-pressure cleaning systems Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely, following all safety and food safety guidelines Apply Lockout/Tagout procedures when preparing equipment for cleaning and inspection Complete sanitation records and report food safety, equipment, or safety concerns Perform physically demanding tasks such as standing, climbing, bending, and twisting in varying temperatures Follow food safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines to maintain product integrity Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to support production schedules Cleaning and sanitizing production equipment High-pressure and hot water cleaning Safe chemical handling Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures Food safety and sanitation standards Completion of sanitation records Industrial equipment disassembly and reassembly PPE usage and safety compliance Working in cold and warm production environments Following SOPs in food manufacturing Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship Minimum age of 18 years Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment Capability to perform physical tasks in cold or warm production environments
