Limited Medical Radiologic TechnologistPerform limited diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocolsPrepare, position, and assist patients during imaging exams to ensure comfort and accuracyOperate and maintain radiologic and DEXA equipment safely and effectivelyEnsure proper radiation safety practices to minimize exposure to patients and staffVerify patient information and maintain accurate documentation of proceduresAdhere to departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelinesMaintain cleanliness and organization of imaging rooms and equipmentCommunicate effectively with patients, providers, and team membersRecognize equipment malfunctions and report issues promptlyProvide excellent customer service while addressing patient needs and concernsPerform other duties as assignedHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredCompletion of an accredited radiologic technology program (limited scope or equivalent)Current registration as a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist as required by the stateValid CPR certification requiredPrevious clinical or radiology experience preferred but not requiredKnowledge of basic radiologic procedures, anatomy, and patient positioning techniquesUnderstanding of radiation safety principles and infection control standardsAbility to operate radiographic and DEXA equipment competentlyStrong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocolsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to provide compassionate, patient-centered careBasic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systemsAbility to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple tasksPhysical ability to stand, walk, and assist patients, including lifting up to 40 poundsPlease note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
