CNC Designer/Programmer/Operator

Key Responsibilities: Create 3D CAD files based on design input from supervisors and managers Process and design assemblies using Rhino and/or Solid Works Program and operate CNC machines: C.R. Onsrud 3-axis & 5-axis routers to produce wood, composite, aluminum, and stainless-steel parts Develop efficient and creative toolpaths to optimize material usage and machine capabilities Maintain CNC equipment and follow preventative maintenance schedules Collaborate with other with design and other departments to meet project needs and timelines Qualifications & Skills 35 years of CAD/CAM and CNC machining experience Proficiency in Rhino and MasterCAM (Solid Works a plus)Experience working with wood, composites, aluminum, and stainless steel Strong understanding of 3-axis and 5-axis toolpaths and operations Strong attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently Ability to read complex design data and work independently Boatbuilding and leadership experience are preferred but not required
