Practice Environment Physicians practice in a busy Level III Trauma Center Emergency Department with overlapping physician and APC coverage throughout the day and overnight. The department supports a broad Emergency Medicine scope, including: Adult and pediatric emergencies Trauma evaluation and stabilization Cardiac and neurologic emergencies Critical illness and resuscitation Medical and surgical emergencies Orthopedic injuries Emergency procedures Consultation, disposition, and transfer Physicians arenot responsible for admitting orders .Candidate RequirementsMD or DOABEM or AOBEM Board Certified Emergency Medicine residency trained Active Mississippi medical licenseDEA registrationACLSPALS and ATLS**PALS and ATLS may be waived for ABEM/AOBEM Board Certified physicians per current client requirements.
