Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Riviera Beach, FL

Employment Type: 3-6-Month Contract

Pay Rate: $90,000 – $110,000 per year (pro-rated for contract duration)

Key Responsibilities: Develop and optimize manufacturing processes in compliance with FDA and ISO 13485 standards Support new product introduction (NPI) by collaborating with R&D and design teams Implement Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing principles to improve quality and efficiency Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including process flow diagrams, work instructions, and validation protocols Design and improve fixtures, tools, and equipment using Solid Works and AutoCADLead process validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ)Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions Provide technical support for CNC machining operations, including programming, setup, and optimization Collaborate with machinists and technicians to ensure high-precision manufacturing of components Ensure manufacturability of designs through close coordination with CNC and fabrication teams

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role, preferably within the medical device industry Proficient in Six Sigma methodologies (certification preferred)Experience with CNC machining operations (programming, setup, troubleshooting)Hands-on experience with Solid Works and AutoCADStrong understanding of NPI processes and design for manufacturability (DFM)Familiarity with ISO 13485 standards
