This is an opportunity to shape and support a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization operating at the intersection ofconsumer financeandtechnology. The ideal candidate combines law firm precisionwithin-house practicality. Aprofessional who works quickly and thoughtfully, thrives in ambiguity, and brings both intellectual curiosityandkindness to every interaction. Job Responsibility Support Provide guidanceto the Company on how to comply with applicablestate and federal lawsand minimize risk, particularly those relating toconsumer lending, credit reporting, credit underwriting, collectionof consumer lending accounts, customerprivacy, andprotection of consumer rights. Draft, revise, negotiate, and manage a wide range ofcommercial contracts, including SaaS, licensing, data sharing, and vendor agreements. Collaborate with legal and compliance team and business partners to mitigatethird-party risksthroughvendor managementandinternal risk controls. Support the business onconsumer financeandfintech -related regulatory and operational matters includingproviding content reviewfor multichanneladvertising and marketingrelated to consumer financial services. Provide business-minded, solutions-oriented guidanceon deal structure, compliance, and strategy. Buildscalableconsumer finance products, such asearned wage access, as well aslegal processesand templates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Stay currenton developments in consumer finance, bank partnership, data privacy, artificial intelligence, fintech regulation, and technology transactions. Assist withintellectual propertymatters as needed. Drive Draft legal letters, memos, and summaries. Facilitate timely and effective resolution of legal issues. Maintain Embody the corevaluesof Purpose Financial. Embrace technological advancement including the intelligent and responsible use of Artificial Intelligencetools. Ensure the Company legal library is easy to access with relevant materials. Accountability: Understand, adhere to, and enforce all corporate policies.
