Vice President of Operations

Overview: An established manufacturer in the Binghamton, NY area is seeking a Vice President of Operations to elevate productivity, strengthen accountability, and improve operational performance while preserving the systems that have made the business successful. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving performance across the entire operation.

What you'll do: Lead daily operations across engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, scheduling, logistics, and HR Improve productivity, equipment uptime, labor efficiency, and overall operational performance Drive accountability, develop leaders, and build a high performance culture Ensure on-time delivery, quality, and customer commitments are consistently achieved Lead continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining proven operational systems Oversee engineering and maintenance projects to ensure timely completion

Required qualifications: 8+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience Experience leading multiple operational functions Background in high mix, low volume, configure to order, or make to order manufacturing Strong ERP experience including production planning, scheduling, BOMs, and routings Proven success improving productivity, equipment uptime, labor efficiency, and on-time delivery Preferred qualificationsLean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience preferred Why this roleThis role offers the opportunity to lead operations across an established manufacturer, driving productivity and performance while building a high performance culture.
