School Psychology InternWe are seeking a School Psychology Intern to join our team as part of our "Grow Your Own" initiative. This is a unique opportunity designed for a college student currently pursuing a degree in psychology and interested in a future career as a school psychologist. Key details include: Fall Semester: The intern will work part-time while continuing their coursework. Spring Semester: The intern will take on an expanded role, functioning as a psychology intern under supervision, gaining hands-on experience in school psychology. Degree Requirement: Applicants must have completed a Bachelor's degree and be enrolled in a graduate-level psychology or school psychology program. This is not a traditional paraprofessional position. It requires specialized knowledge and education in psychology and is intended to help the intern transition into a full-time school psychologist role in the future. Rate of Pay and Job Description: This position is a Level 4 on the Special Education hourly rate schedule. Pay is determined by years of applicable, paid experience, $16.37-21.67/hr. All job descriptions for the district are also posted on our Job Description Index. This position is Job Description # 498.General Benefit Information - Positions (or a combination of two positions) working more than 20 hours per week are considered full-time and will qualify for full benefits including health insurance, supplemental insurance options, medical and dependent flex spending accounts, and paid, accumulated sick leave. Eligible for 11-16 paid holidays depending on number of months on your regular schedule. Eligible for a free DRC membership for the employee. A $20,000 or $10,000 life insurance policy paid for by the district depending on full or part-time status. Positions working 12 months out of the year also accumulate paid vacation leave.
