About the role

GWMath Matters tutors provide quality on-site, small-group tutoring to 3rd through 8th-grade students in Washington, DC. Tutors build math skills with students while fostering meaningful relationships. Regular training is mandatory, with sessions every Wednesday from 9:35-10:50am and one Saturday per month. Tutors must be prepared to tutor at least 90 minutes weekly and develop lesson plans and activities.
