Senior AI Observability engineer

Overview In this role you will architect an Observability-as-Code ecosystem for cloud-native platforms, delivering real-time insights and automated instrumentation. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to embed observability by default and drive MTTR reductions through AIOps and distributed tracing. You’ll also own end‑to‑end infrastructure automation, creating reusable pipelines and “Golden Paths” for secure, scalable resource provisioning. This position blends advanced telemetry, IaC, and CI/CD to shape reliable, compliant systems at scale. Responsibilities Design and implement telemetry pipelines across logs, metrics, events, and traces Configure AI-driven anomaly detection to detect issues before outages Integrate auto-instrumentation into CI/CD to ensure observability for new services Automate dashboards, alerts, and SLO tracking via IaC across dev, staging, and prod Leverage AIOps and distributed tracing to reduce MTTR and perform root-cause analysis Monitor security event logs to ensure compliance with regulations Automate provisioning of monitoring tools and dashboards using IaC (Terraform/Open Tofu/Pulumi)Develop automated deployment pipelines (Spacelift/HCP Terraform)Embed security policies and compliance checks into IaC templates Orchestrate multi-cloud (AWS/Azure) environments with cloud-agnostic tooling Write unit/integration tests for infrastructure changes to protect production Key requirements 12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field Expert-level knowledge of AWS and Azure networking, IAM, and serverless architectures Hands-on experience implementing cloud-native Observability solutions Proficiency in Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry, ELK/Splunk, and Datadog/New Relic/Dynatrace Mastery of Terraform/Open Tofu/Pulumi for IaCExpert knowledge of Open Telemetry (OTel) and W3C Trace Context Proficiency in Go, Python, or Bash for automation Experience using AI-assisted tools for code generation and cost/performance optimizationcollaboration with cross-functional teamsproblem-solving and analytical thinkingeffective communication of complex concepts Prometheus Grafana Open Telemetry
