Travel Surgical Technologist (Surgical Tech) We are seeking an experienced and flexible Travel Surgical Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Columbus, Nebraska (Level 3 Trauma Facility). This facility features 4 OR suites plus additional rooms for minor procedures, performing a high volume of orthopedic cases alongside visiting specialist clinics. Key Responsibilities & Department Details: Assist surgical teams across a broad range of specialties, including Ortho, General, Urology, ENT, and OB/GYN (including C-sections).Experience with Da Vinci Robot and Mako systems is required. As part of a smaller facility team, the Surgical Tech will also assist with turning over rooms and cleaning. Must be flexible with scheduling and adaptable to meet the needs of the department. No extended scrubs.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working as a Surgical Tech.
Certifications:
Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification (Required).Active BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association (Required).MOAB / CPI: Candidates are required to take MOAB if they do not already hold an active CPI or MOAB certification (offered on-site for a $150 fee).
Licensure / Compliance:
Clean professional license/certification history (disclosures required for any prior discipline or criminal history outside minor traffic violations).Why NuWest?
