Assistant Manager

THE ROLE: Work closely with the manager on daily operations and special projects Own the creation and management of Cookie Time's social media content Assist with baking, decorating, and customer service Help with daily bakery production, including preparation, baking, decorating, and preparing products for the case Help manage Toast, online ordering, and third-party delivery Help train and support staff as needed Jump in wherever needed to keep the bakery running smoothlyWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORMust love cookies! Baking experience: someone comfortable working in a commercial kitchen or eager to develop those skills Enjoys baking and is interested in learning new techniques, recipes, and production processes Experience and a deep interest in creating engaging, creative content for social media is required Tech-savvy and a fast learner Independent worker with strong communication and organizational skills Toast/POS experience is a major plus Commercial kitchen or bakery experience is a plusWHY COOKIE TIME?We are a long-standing neighborhood bakery with a lot of room for growth, and this role is an opportunity to be part of that growth! We re working on modernizing our processes and customer experience. We recently implemented Toast, online ordering, and third-party delivery, and we re always looking for new and creative ways to improve our store, operations, and customer experience. There is no shortage of projects to take on, and the sky is the limit when it comes to ideas and improvements. While we are lucky to have some flexibility in hours and schedule, this position will be asked to work some weekends.25 hours/week to start, with plenty of room to grow Think you d be a good fit?
