Chemical Process/ Production Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES: --- Involved in day to day production support for the batch/ continuous chemical operations including troubleshooting and problem solving of process / equipment issues.--- Track Production Yields and Perform Mass Balances--- Handle process improvement projects.--- Manages continuous improvements in safety, productivity, quality, reliability and cost.--- Support process downtime and runtime.--- Involved with production and material planning, packaging, shipping, and receiving.--- Participate in PSM initiatives and audits.--- Implement change management processes including MOC, PSSR, P&ID, hazard reviews, SOPs, SPC, SQC. --- Lead incident investigations and problem-solving sessions (safety, quality, production, reliability, etc.)--- Assist with Training of Operations Teams.

QUALIFICATIONS: --- BS Chemical Engineering degree with 3+ years experience as Process / Production Engineer/ Leader in PSM/ chemical operating plants.--- Preferred experience with Lean/ Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, PHA, MOC, P&IDs--- Familiar with process unit operations and Controls; reactors, distillation, polymerization, esterification, filtration, dryers, twin-screw extrusion, heat treatment.--- Able to work in the USA without sponsorship, now or in the future.
