Responsibilities include: Editing video for daily newscastsCreating graphics for broadcastAssisting with audio and video playback in the control roomOperating studio equipment and production systemsSupporting all aspects of news gathering and productionLearning and mastering multiple areas of broadcast operationsQualifications: Strong attention to detailAbility to perform well under pressure during live broadcastsPositive attitude and willingness to learnDependable work ethic and reliable attendanceAbility to follow detailed instructionsFlexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysInterest in news, current events, and broadcastingPreferred Qualifications: Previous television or media experienceCoursework or degree pursuit in Broadcasting, Communications, Journalism, Media Production, or a related fieldWe utilize DMV & criminal background checks as a condition of employment.
