Strategic Business Initiatives LeaderThis role is designed for a strategic executor who can lead high-impact business initiatives from concept through implementation. You will partner closely with commercial, supply chain leaders and cross-functional teams to drive key priorities, establish clear governance, maintain executive-level communication, and ensure initiatives are delivered on time and aligned to business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a consulting mindset to complex business challenges, anticipate risks and opportunities, and translate strategic priorities into actionable plans that drive measurable results.Preferred QualificationsBackground in Commercial Operations, Consulting, Business Operations, Sales, Merchandising, Customer Experience, or a related fieldExperience supporting customer-focused or commercial growth initiatives in a B2B environmentDemonstrated experience leading cross-functional business initiatives from planning through executionProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to perform basic analysis and develop impactful business presentationsExperience leading teams, coaching associates, or managing direct reports preferredBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Communications, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related fieldJob SummaryManages the execution of specific business initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and collaboration across departments.Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key AccountabilitiesDevelops and implements detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring timely execution.Coordinates with various departments to ensure that all resources are allocated effectively.Oversees, coaches, and fosters the growth of direct reports, while providing guidance and support to ensure tasks align with project goals.Identifies potential risks associated with project execution and develops strategies to mitigate them effectively.Responds to and resolves escalated issues during or after implementation, while troubleshooting and recommending solutions to proposed challenges.Reports on the progress and performance of initiatives to the senior team and other stakeholders.Implements best practices and identifies opportunities for process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.Nature and ScopeSolutions require analysis and investigation.Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience.Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.Work EnvironmentLocated in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.Education and ExperienceTypically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification.
