In addition to clinical service provision, the successful candidate is also expected to participate in advancing the educational mission of Mayo Clinic, including active participation in the residency and fellowship training programs, and engage in collaborative research efforts across the division and department. The psychiatrist may also apply for departmental-sponsored research time (up to 20%) within the first 3 years of their appointment in accordance with established research program guidelines. Academic rank in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine will be granted commensurate with experience.
