Missouri Sports Medicine Opening Our client in a small Midwestern town just 30 minutes from a metro of 500K is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Sports Medicine physician to join their team. FM or EM with Sports Medicine fellowship. Non-surgical role. The clinic is part of an Independent, not-for-profit, 72-bed short-term acute care hospital, and has a relationship with the local university's athletics teams. The community features a low cost of living, genuine community, and easy access to plenty of outdoor recreation. Practice details include: Provide comprehensive non-surgical musculoskeletal care for athletes of all ages and competition levels from youth and high school athletes to university competitors and active adults. Procedural capabilities include: Ultrasound-guided injections, Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy, Tenex minimally invasive tenotomy, COOLIEF radiofrequency treatment for pain management and recovery optimization The physician works closely day-to-day with advanced practice providers, athletic trainers, physical therapists, and coaches — integrated into the athlete's care team.
