The hospital draws patients from across the state for advanced interventions that may not be available at smaller community hospitals. Support staff are in place to facilitate coordinated clinical operations throughout each coverage period.
About the Facility Location:
The area offers a range of attractions spanning history, arts, entertainment, and outdoor recreation. Visitors can explore landmarks such as Historic Fort Snelling, the American Swedish Institute housed in the historic Swan J. Turnblad Mansion, and the Stone Arch Bridge, alongside entertainment options including the Mall of America, Brave New Workshop, and Chanhassen Dinner Theatres. The region also provides access to parks, lakes, ski areas, and a network of trails, making it a destination suited to a variety of interests throughout the year. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide 24-hour call coverage for pediatric surgical services across clinic and operating room settings on weekends, beginning in January. Responsibilities include the evaluation and management of pediatric surgical cases as clinically indicated during assigned call periods. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and clinicians must maintain on-site availability to respond to pediatric surgical needs throughout each shift.
