Senior Manager, Strategic Finance | AI Native Fintech | New YorkI’m working with a high-growth, AI-native fintech that is transforming the way consumers access credit and pay for essential services. The business has already reached unicorn status, backed by significant institutional investment, and has built a nationwide platform serving millions of consumers through tens of thousands of merchant locations. Their technology sits across the entire customer journey, using AI-driven decisioning, fraud prevention and personalised offers to make accessing credit faster, simpler and more transparent. They’re now looking to bring in a Senior Manager, Strategic Finance to help shape the next phase of growth. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the VP of Strategic Finance, sitting at the intersection of finance, strategy and the wider business. You’ll be responsible for:• Leading financial strategy across new and existing products and business lines• Evaluating pricing, ROI, payback and capital allocation decisions• Building board materials, fundraising analysis and senior leadership reporting• Partnering with commercial teams to build scalable, driver-based revenue models• Supporting M&A, new market expansion and investment decisions• Helping develop the data, modelling and tooling infrastructure behind Strategic Finance What they’re looking for:• 6–8 years’ experience across Strategic Finance, FP&A, Investment Banking, Consulting or Private Equity• Exceptional financial modelling and scenario analysis skills• Strong commercial judgement and ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations• Comfortable presenting to and influencing senior leadership• Strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills• Deep experience with balance sheet lending / consumer credit is essential💰 $165K–$195K base + equity📍 New York | Hybrid This is a particularly strong opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond traditional FP&A and take on genuine ownership of strategic decisions across a rapidly scaling fintech.
