Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site Engineer role based in the United States. The Engineer will design, build, and maintain core product features that power Origami’s lead discovery, data enrichment, and sequencing workflows. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing scalable backend services, optimizing integrations with third-party data sources, and improving system performance and reliability. The role also involves collaborating closely with product and sales teams to understand user needs, refine requirements, and translate them into robust technical solutions. The Engineer will participate in code reviews, write tests and documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of the engineering practices and development tooling.
Qualifications:
Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented or functional programming.
Experience building and maintaining production web applications or distributed systems, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with APIs and third-party integrations, data pipelines, and handling large or complex data sets.
Knowledge of modern development practices, such as version control, automated testing, CI/CD, and monitoring.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in B2B SaaS, sales tools, or data/analytics platforms is a plus.
