About the role
Job Description:
An employer is looking for a AI Engineering Lead to sit remotely. The primary responsibility will be to lead engineering efforts from a hands on and managerial perspective for the enterprise AI team. This team builds and deploys AI and GenAI products into existing internal applications and SaaS platforms that the client has integrated. The goal of this role is to help mature the GenAI environment/ team/ offerings and continue to enhance the appetite of the business to implement these solutions into existing platforms. You will partner closely with senior engineers, business stakeholders, and contribute to building AI agents in databricks/ Azure AI Foundry. Additional tasks will include pioneering GenAI models, collaboration with application teams to identify opportunities to leverage GenAI, and to develop, program, train the complex networks of algorithms. This will have a heavy focus on Azure products/ services including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure Function Apps and Azure API management.
Skills and Requirements:
5-7+ years of experience within AI engineering and architecture 2+ years of experience developing Gen AI products 2+ years leading teams and initiatives Strong background with Microsoft Azure Cloud Environment Extensive experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure Function Apps and Azure API Management Expert level python development skills Proven background in building/ deploying AI solutions/ agents and showcasing ROIStrong experience working with SQLDatabricks experience We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
