Vice President of Development

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President of Development tojoin our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proventrack record in real estate development, and expertise in project underwriting. Thisindividual will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and executing newprojects, while also managing relationships with key stakeholders. Knowledge ofconstruction is a plus!

Responsibilities: • Lead the development team in identifying new project opportunities andconducting feasibility studies.• Oversee project underwriting efforts, including financial analysis, marketresearch, and risk assessment.• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure projects aredelivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to optimize financialperformance and mitigate risks.• Cultivate and maintain relationships with investors, lenders, governmentagencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate project financing and approvals.• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and otherstakeholders on project status, financial performance, and potential risks oropportunities.

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Finance, Business Administration, or relatedfield.• Ten years of experience in real estate development, with a focus on projectunderwriting and front-end development.• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and feasibilityanalysis.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability toeffectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.• Proven track record of successfully managing complex development projectsfrom inception to completion.• Knowledge of local zoning regulations, permitting processes, and otherrelevant regulations and guidelines.
