Delivery Driver

Driver PositionJM Test Systems provides calibration, test and measurement equipment, and technical services across multiple business segments and service locations. We help customers in industrial, energy, manufacturing, and other demanding environments keep critical instruments accurate, compliant, and ready to perform. This is more than just a driving job. Our drivers are an important connection between JM Test Systems and our customers, making sure calibrated and repaired equipment gets where it needs to go safely, accurately, and on time. In this role, you will run daily pickup and delivery routes across the Baton Rouge, LA and surrounding areas, including industrial facilities, plants, and refineries. You'll handle customer and company equipment with care, make sure every order is accurate, and keep both customers and our logistics team informed along the way. Key Responsibilities & Outcomes Run safe, on-time routes. Complete daily pickup and delivery routes throughout your territory, safely loading, securing, transporting, and unloading customer and company equipment. Get every stop right. Verify equipment, quantities, paperwork, and customer information at each stop, obtain signatures, and complete proof-of-delivery documentation. Represent JM Test Systems. Provide professional, friendly service at customer sites, from industrial facilities to plants and refineries. Keep the team informed. Communicate route changes, delays, customer requests, and other issues to the logistics team so problems are solved quickly. Put safety first. Complete pre- and post-trip inspections, keep your company vehicle clean and in good condition, and follow company safety, fleet, and DOT/FMCSA requirements. Stay organized on the go.
