Epsilon Systems Solutions Inc is hiring a Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Epsilon C5I inSan Diego, CA (onsite) .
Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, upgrade, and/or monitor cybersecurity measures to strengthen cyber defense and support a cyber-resilient network.
Assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities to identify risk and recommend, implement, or support remediation actions and risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure security controls are established to safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure.
Respond to computer security breaches to restore protections and complete required reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degreein Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science, or equivalent.
- DoD IAT Level IIcertification minimum or eligibility for the position.
- Minimum 5 (five) yearsof notable experience preparing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policy, including
- Assessment and Authorizationrequirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, and professional demeanor.
- Excellentoral and writtencommunication skills.
- Effective team player with highly proficientcustomer serviceskills.
- Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI accessis required.
- Applicants must beU.S. Citizensper applicable government contractual requirements.
Certifications / Technologies: CompTIA Security+CompTIA Linux+AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such asCompTIA Security+orCompTIA Linux+ .AWS Cloud Practitioner Certificationor equivalent.
- Pay Range$135,000 - $185,000per year.
- Estimated range based on business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications (skills, education, experience).ADA / Work Conditions
- Regular communication (hearing/speaking).Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.
- Prolonged use of a computer (typing/keyboarding).Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, and may occasionally lift and move at least25 pounds .Ability to travel by car, air, or other transportation methods if required.
