TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in Olympia, Washington, 98502!Job Title Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / IRLocationOlympia, WA | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | Includes weekday and weekend call requirements
Key Responsibilities: Circulate, sedate, and transport patients in a Cath Lab environment handling cases such as LHC/RHC, diagnostic and interventional procedures, IABPs, Rotablator, STEMIs/MIs, pacemakers, MICRAs, staged/protected PCIs, and CTOsRead and interpret EKGs and provide hemodynamic monitoring during procedures; monitor cases as applicable based on skill set Participate as part of a 3-person room team across Cath Lab, IR, and Hybrid room settings, supporting 7–14 cases per day Assist with IR procedures (e.g., coil embolizations, nephrostomy tubes, central lines, ports, IVC filters, tunneled dialysis catheters, and clot management devices) — training available for those without IR experience Participate in on-call rotation: expected 1–2 weekday call shifts per week (end of shift until following morning) and expected 1 weekend per month (end of shift Friday through Monday morning) with a 30-minute response time Complete required MHS Telemetry test prior to arrival and participate in facility and unit orientation, including buddy call during orientation period
Required Qualifications:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — Washington State license requiredBLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
  • Ability to read/interpret EKGs and manage hemodynamic monitoring
  • Willingness and ability to fulfill weekday and weekend on-call obligations with a 30-minute response time
  • Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Interventional Radiology (IR) experience preferred; facility is willing to train candidates with Cath Lab experience
  • Hybrid room experience (e.g., AAA grafts, peripheral/AO runoffs, fistulograms) preferred; training available
  • Impella experience preferred
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, Merge hemodynamic monitoring, GE C-arms, and MedRad injector
