CNC Mill Team Lead Job Description: PrideStaff is assisting a local engineering and machining company who is seeking a CNC Mill Team Lead to join their growing team. The CNC Mill Team Lead is responsible for leading daily operations of the department; ensuring team members are successful and supporting production flow with high quality parts. This role is hands-on, working with complex parts and process development while leading the team with training, The CNC Mill Team Lead is a full-time, direct hire in Phelps, NY. CNC Mill Team Lead Job Responsibilities: Directs a group of employees. Responsible for departmental supervision. Sets up, programs and runs new jobs. Trains others within the group. Responsible for quality, quantity and safety of the group. Liaison between customer/purchasing/engineering and outside groups. Responsible for departmental scheduling. Assist with the development and implementation of quality programs. Responsible for work in process/inventory control. May assist with performance reviews. Keeps accurate records. Ensures work areas are kept clean. Will perform other duties as directed. Relevant AS9100 competencies as defined by QL-7200 Training Matrix.
