In-Mold Grading Supervisor

Must-Haves: 3+ years of manufacturing experience with forming presses, in-mold graining, lamination, bonding, or related processes Hands-on forming press experience, such as compression molding, vacuum forming, or thermoforming (metal stamping alone does not qualify) Knowledge of TPO, films, fabrics, and other bonding and wrapping materials Ability to troubleshoot equipment, monitor process parameters, and spot defects Familiarity with safety standards, 5S, and continuous improvement Strong leadership and communication skills High school diploma or equivalent

What You'll Do: Supervise daily in-mold graining, forming press, bonding, and wrapping operations Assign employees and manage production workflow Monitor press temperature, pressure, and cycle times for consistent quality Oversee manual and automated bonding and wrapping for proper alignment and adhesion Resolve defects like wrinkles, bubbles, and poor bonding Ensure parts meet customer standards for appearance, texture, and fit and finish Train and coach production employees Enforce Lockout/Tagout, machine guarding, and 5S Support plant start-up, equipment readiness, and work instruction development

Nice-to-Haves: Supervisory experience in manufacturing Automotive interior trim experience Technical training or education

Compensation and Benefits: $65,000 to $80,000 per year Ground-floor role in a new facility Our client is an automotive manufacturer launching a new production facility south of Atlanta.
