About the role

A leading U.S. solar and energy storage developer is hiring a Director of Project Finance to lead debt and tax equity execution across its growing portfolio. The company is a top-tier, vertically integrated renewable IPP with an active pipeline of utility-scale projects nationwide. Reporting to the SVP of Capital Markets, the Director will own the full financing lifecycle from structuring through close, serve as a key relationship holder with the firm's capital provider community, and coordinate across EPC, Development, and BD teams on deal execution.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and manage tax equity and debt financing for project-level and corporate facilities
  • Run RFP processes and oversee due diligence with technical and financial advisors
  • Lead negotiation of term sheets and financing agreements alongside legal counsel
  • Oversee financial modeling including structure impacts on project IRRs and MOICsMaintain relationships with project finance lenders and tax equity investors
  • Mentor junior deal team members
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years in structured or project finance with a developer, IPP, or leading PF lender
  • Deep knowledge of renewable energy capital structures including tax equity, construction debt, and term financing
  • Established relationships with active U.S. lenders and tax equity investors
  • Strong financial modeling skills and fluency in project finance documentation
  • Bachelor's degree minimum
