Position: Ultrasound Tech - Maternal Fetal
Location: Cary, NC
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 AM - 04:30 PM)
Targeted Start Date: October 19 or November 2Job Description The Ultrasound Tech in Maternal Fetal Medicine is responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations on patients for the evaluation of maternal and fetal health. This position requires expertise in maternal fetal medicine and proficiency with ultrasound equipment, particularly GE systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct ultrasound examinations during all trimesters of pregnancy.
Utilize advanced ultrasound technology to assess fetal anatomy and health.
Perform invasive procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS).Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all procedures conducted.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Maternal Fetal Medicine experience required.
Certifications:
BLS and ARDMS in OB/GYN are required. Equipment Experience: Must have experience with GE ultrasound equipment.
Skills:
Expertise in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester ultrasound procedures.
Experience in fetal echo and high-risk obstetrics.
Ability to conduct comprehensive fetal anatomical surveys.
Proficient in ultrasound-guided biopsy and fine needle aspiration.
General Information
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with no weekend requirements. Orientations are conducted bi-weekly. Floating Requirement: Must be willing to cover the Cary clinic as needed.
Patient Care Details:
Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics.
Daily Patient Visits: Approximately 7.Facility Equipment: GE Voluson E10, EPIC charting system, GE ViewPoint.
