InterSystems IRIS Database Administrator

Supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project, the full-time InterSystems IRIS Database Administrator will manage the administration, performance, and availability of mission-critical InterSystems IRIS and Cach database environments remotely while collaborating with various teams to ensure data migration continuity and EHRM site-conversion readiness. Key responsibilities:Administer, configure, and troubleshoot InterSystems IRIS and Cach database environments across Development, Test, Staging, and Production Monitor and ensure the consistency of data transmissions and backups while performing database capacity planning and performance tuning Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and maintain accurate operational documentation and support production deploymentsRequired qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 5+ years of hands-on database administration experience Demonstrated experience with InterSystems Cach and/or InterSystems IRIS, including operations, configuration, and troubleshooting Practical Linux administration experience and knowledge of Windows Server environments Experience with database backup/recovery, high-availability environments, and formal change management practices Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex database and operational issues
