Scientist IThe Scientist I will support manufacturing and laboratory operations within a regulated drug product environment. This entry-level position focuses on the setup and operation of automated fill/finish equipment used for prefilled syringe production, routine laboratory processes, technical documentation, and compliance with quality requirements. The role is well suited for candidates with a four-year scientific degree and laboratory or automated equipment experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate moderately complex automated fill/finish equipment used in prefilled syringe production.
Perform routine laboratory and manufacturing processes with minimal supervision.
Work with mixing vessels, filters, tanks, utilities, connections, and related laboratory or manufacturing equipment.
Accurately document activities and results in electronic systems following GLP/GMP requirements.
Independently draft clear and accurate technical documents as required.
Collaborate effectively within a team while maintaining strict adherence to quality requirements.
Use MS Office tools to support documentation and reporting activities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, pharmaceutics, or a related scientific discipline.
Laboratory skills and experience working with automated equipment.
Strong scientific problem-solving, experimental design, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to understand, set up, and operate moderately complex automated equipment.
Strong written communication and technical documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, quality-focused environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a regulated manufacturing or laboratory environment.
Familiarity with sterile processing or fill/finish operations.
Familiarity with GLP/GMP practices and documentation.
