Registered Nurse (RN) – LTC/SNF/RehabNuWest is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift assignment in a skilled nursing setting serving both short-term rehab and long-term care residents. The ideal candidate is a flexible, clinically confident RN with long-term care experience who is comfortable floating across units and delivering compassionate, high-quality care overnight.
Position Overview:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including assessments, vital signs, and ongoing monitoring of condition changes
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, following facility policies and safe medication practices
- Develop, implement, and update resident care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Provide wound care, catheter care, and other skilled nursing procedures as ordered
- Document resident care, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
- Communicate with physicians, family members, and care team members about resident status, changes in condition, and concerns
- Supervise and delegate to LPNs and CNAs, and coordinate care across the night shift
- Float to units across the facility, including rehab, short-term stay, and long-term care, as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, LTAC, or rehab setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Must reside more than 50 minutes from the assignment location
- Must be able to pass required background checks and drug screening
