About the role

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Under the supervision of a credentialed Speech-Language Specialist, provides direct speech therapy services to identified students related to articulation and phonology language processing, hearing, and alternative and augmentative communication; performs a variety of duties in support of student in accordance with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals; performs a variety of duties in support of student case management services; maintain records and documentation on students; and performs related duties as assigned. A Speech-Language Pathology Assistant participates, collaborates, and provides speech therapy services for special needs students to improve their academic performance. Some positions may require possession of a valid and appropriate California driver's license: Must maintain current Speech and Language Pathology registration with the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology throughout employment in this position.
