About the role

Certified Nursing Assistant - 2-10PM ShiftAvir at Heritage, a premier healthcare provider, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at our San Antonio, Texas location. As a CNA with Avir at Heritage, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care and compassion to our residents while working in a dynamic and supportive environment. Our mission is "Exceptional Care, Compassionate Hearts", and we are committed to delivering high-quality care to our patients and residents.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to residents, including personal care, assistance with activities of daily living, and monitoring of vital signs
  • Assist with feeding, bathing, dressing, and grooming of residents as needed
  • Support residents with mobility and transfers, including use of equipment and assistive devices
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and medications
  • Participate in resident care conferences and family meetings2-10PM shift, including weekend and holiday rotations
Essential Qualifications:
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents as needed
