Lake Charles, LALicensure Requirements: Must have open, active, and in good standing Louisiana Pharmacy Technician License and be PTCB certified
Education: H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
Experience Needed: 1+ years
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay:
$25.00-$32.00 DOEBackground/ Drug Requirements: Ability to successfully complete background check, health and drug screen
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in inventory management of medications and supplies
- Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure quality and accuracy of compounded medications
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control processes
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Stay updated on current compounding regulations and best practices
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and patients as needed
- Assist in managing hazardous drug handling and disposal
- Contribute to the development and improvement of standard operating procedures
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of compounding equipment
- Assist in preparing and packaging final products for dispensing or shipping
