VMware VxRail Engineer

Salary: $85,000 - 85,000 per year Requirements:Proven hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and associated administration tools. Strong working knowledge of VxRail appliances, architecture, and deployment best practices. Ability to carry out patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting in virtualized environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on quickly resolving incidents. Availability to work third-shift hours and take part in on-call support as needed. Effective communication skills for partnering with technical teams and documenting procedures. Ability to adjust to changing priorities and operate effectively in a flexible schedule setting. English proficiency required. Overnight shift availability required. Night shift availability required. Responsibilities:Manage, monitor, and support VMware and VxRail environments to maintain stability and performance. Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including patching and updates, often during scheduled downtime or off-hours. Participate in on-call rotations to support critical infrastructure issues around the clock. Troubleshoot and resolve virtualization-related issues promptly and effectively. Work with cross-functional teams to plan and implement infrastructure upgrades or changes. Record system configurations, procedures, and incident details accurately for future reference. Contribute to the design of scalable virtualization solutions aligned with organizational needs. Maintain compliance with security policies and best practices for virtualization infrastructure.
