About the role

Palmdale Transportation and Chemical Management Supervisor The Palmdale Transportation and Chemical Management Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all crane operators, forklift operators, chemical-replenishment attendants, and commercial highway truck drivers to ensure safe, efficient, and timely movement of aircraft parts, tooling, and materials throughout the manufacturing support chain. This role plans, coordinates, and monitors daily logistics operations, enforces compliance with safety and environmental regulations, manages resource allocation, and resolves operational issues that could impact production flow. The supervisor also conducts performance evaluations, provides training on equipment and chemical handling procedures, and collaborates with engineering, production, and supply-chain teams to continuously improve transportation processes and support overall mission readiness. Additionally, you may attend status meetings advising management of the status of work in progress, and material availability. You must have the ability to resolve issues that may arise in the manufacturing process by interfacing with all supporting organization and be flexible, open minded and capable of managing multiple tasks. This role also provides you with the ability to collaborate with Labor Relations and Human Resources to enhance employee engagement.

Basic Qualifications: Experience with maintaining compliance documentation, incident reporting, and regulatory audit preparation. Secret clearance. Minimum 2 years of proven leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in a logistics, material handling, or transportation setting. Proficient computer skills: comfortable using email, Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and basic data-entry or reporting tools. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with operators, drivers, cross-functional teams, and senior management.
