Job Description:
Terry's Floors is a locally owned business, looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and driving sales. If you have a passion for retail, enjoy working with people, and thrive in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you. The hours required for this position begin at six hours a week (Saturday's), with opportunity for additional hours throughout the week.
Duties:
-Primary Responsibility: Sale of whole goods to customers and provide excellent customer service. Selling flooring- LVP, LVT, carpet, hardwood, laminate, tile etc.- Assist customers in finding and selecting products that meet their needs- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions- Meet or exceed sales goals on a regular basis-Must be comfortable with Intuit Quick Books, Microsoft word, Outlook
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
