IT Trainer

Training Specialist Identify skill gaps and training needs in consultation with relevant staff Create and maintain training materials Deliver training sessions and offer follow-up support for ongoing learning Communicate training needs within the training and support team Display servant leadership through strategic and tactical planning Provide help-desk support and troubleshoot computer issues Use program expertise to advise staff on best practices Travel to deliver on-site training, as necessary Deliver online, web-based training on a scheduled and as-needed basis Provide office hours for impromptu training requests Hold a Bachelors degree in Education, Management Information Systems, Communications, Business, or related field, or have relevant work experience Have knowledge and experience working with a local health department or Virginia Department of Health Have knowledge of the Ryan White HIV program Have experience using the Provide Enterprise System Have knowledge of adult learning and instructional design Have a working knowledge of MS 365 applications Have experience building training materials such as videos, presentations, or job aids Be experienced in troubleshooting hardware and software issues Have 4+ years of professional experience Have 3+ years of experience advising and influencing internal stakeholders Be a self-starter and a team player with a positive attitude Be able to coach and influence internal key stakeholders
