Assistant Mill Operator

Essential Responsibilities: Maintain high sanitation standards in assigned work areas Operate and maintain production equipment as needed Load/unload tandem trucks at elevator and storage sites Assist in training team members and learning Operator II duties Monitor grain handling equipment and storage site bin levels Bag sunflower products in 2550 lb. bags on a continuous basis Operate forklifts safely and efficiently Complete required paperwork accurately and on time Uphold personal and environmental safety standards Communicate clearly across departments and management Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Operator IISkills &

Required: High School Diploma or GEDExperience in a manufacturing or food production environment Basic math and computer skills Forklift operation experience Ability to follow written/verbal instructions and safety procedures Strong communication and teamwork abilities Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and work in dusty, non-climate-controlled areas

Preferred: 2+ years in an ag or food manufacturing setting Familiarity with: Color sorters Gravity tables Destoners Electronic scales Package filling & sewing equipment Tandem truck operation Work Environment &
