Job Description:
Job Description Responsibilities:• Stone Fabrication & Engraving: Carve, cut, shape, and engrave memorial headstones and monuments using specialized tools and equipment.• Installation & Repair: Transport, install, and maintain stone memorials at cemeteries and designated sites, ensuring proper placement and stability.• Customization & Design: Assist in designing memorials, including inscriptions, artwork, and layout, based on client specifications.• Material Handling & Processing: Work with various stone types such as granite, marble, and other materials, ensuring quality and precision in craftsmanship.• Client Interaction: Provide customer service by discussing project requirements, explaining design options, and ensuring satisfaction with final products.• Safety & Equipment Maintenance: Follow workplace safety regulations, maintain tools and machinery, and ensure proper handling of materials.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience in stone cutting, engraving, or related trades preferred.• Proficiency in operating stone-cutting and engraving tools (CNC, sandblasting, hand tools).• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality craftsmanship.• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy stone materials.• Basic knowledge of design software (such as CAD) is a plus.• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
