What You'll Do: As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
Responsibilities include: Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed Supporting daily living skills and independence Assisting with appointments, community outings, and recreational activities Providing companionship, encouragement, and emotional support Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment Following individualized support plans and goals Promoting dignity, respect, and person-centered care Every day brings new opportunities to help someone learn, grow, and succeed. Qualifications: Required Must be at least 20 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification if not currently certified Ability to pass: State and Federal criminal background checks Drug screening Pre-employment physical and PPDPreferred Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, healthcare, or a related field Additional education in human services, healthcare, education, or a related discipline Schedule Full-Time Thursday-Monday 3:00 PM-11:00 PMApply Today Some jobs pay the bills.
